The effective date of this subchapter, referred to in par. (5)(A), is 24 months after July 26, 1990, see section 108 of Pub. L. 101–336, set out as an Effective Date note below.

The Controlled Substances Act, referred to in par. (6)(A), is title II of Pub. 1991—Par. (4). Pub. L. 102–166 inserted at end “With respect to employment in a foreign country, such term includes an individual who is a citizen of the United States.”
