The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, referred to in subsec. (a), is Pub. L. 89–10, Apr. 11, 1965, 79 Stat. 27, as amended. Title I of the Act is classified generally to subchapter I (§ 6301 et seq.) of chapter 70 of this title. Section 1472 (2) of this title, referred to in subsec. (c), was in the original a reference to section 672(2) of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Pub. L. 91–230, title VI. Section 672 of Pub. L. 91–230 was repealed by Pub. L. 105–17, title II, § 203(b), June 4, 1997, 111 Stat. 157. Pub. L. 105–17 enacted a new section 672 of Pub. L. 91–230, which is classified to section 1472 of this title, and which no longer defined “qualified professional provider of early intervention services”. Subsequently, a general amendment by Pub. L. 108–446, title I, § 101, Dec. 3, 2004, 118 Stat. 2791, enacted a new section 672, which also does not define “qualified professional provider of early intervention services”.

2004—Subsec. (c). Pub. L. 108–446 substituted “sections 1401 and 1432” for “sections 1401 (a)(1) and 1472 (1)”.

1994—Subsec. (a). Pub. L. 103–382 substituted “title I” for “chapter 1 of title I”.
