Inapplicability of Section to Certain Employees On and After October 1, 1983

Effective Date
Section 104(d) of Pub. L. 88–454 provided that: “This section [enacting this section and amending section
60j of this title] shall become effective on the first day of the month following the date of enactment of this Act [Aug. 20, 1964].”
